Laura Brache is an audience growth producer at The News & Observer and The Herald Sun. She previously served as diverse communities reporter through Report for America, covering the effects of changing demographics on diverse communities across the Triangle region. She is a multilingual, multimedia journalist from North Carolina, who was born in Massachusetts and raised in the Dominican Republic. She is a 2017 graduate of the Hussman School of Journalism and Media at UNC-Chapel Hill, and earned a master’s degree from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2020.
